This is the Lord’s Church

God began a good work in Eagle Rock many years ago when the founders of ERCC started a work here. The history of this church has touched many lives.

I am so glad this work is going to continue. I am grateful to the Lord that I had a part to play. My prayer is that the work of the kingdom of God will continue to touch lives here in NELA.

Right now our house looks more like a storage unit that a house. Please pray for Martha. Our kids in the Houston area are hopefully having their second child born today.

She will be flying back to Houston to help our kids. I am moving most of our stuff this Friday. I will be here Sunday for my last official day as one of your pastors.

The Leadership Team voted to have me serve in an advisory role for staff and leadership for the next 6 months. I will be doing this both on-line and face to face.

I will not be one of your pastors, but I will help in providing a listening ear and voice to the process of transition. I want to see our church continue to grow.

It is a bitter sweet time for Martha and me. We love so many of you and truly enjoy our times of fellowship and worship.

Remember, this is the Lord’s church! What he began in us, he will bring to completion until the day of Christ Jesus!
